Aren’t A380 engines a little bigger, or is it just me?

My thoughts exactly…one single engine is as wide as a 737 aircraft which is not a tiny aeroplane

Oh my gosh, I think I understand how one of these engines could power a 747! That engine is as wide as a 737! GE90s are HUGE! You just don’t have a perspective of the size until you place it next to something.

An A380 doesn’t need four full sized engines, but two 777 engines wouldn’t be powerful enough for the A380.

Wow! You only realize how big it is when you compare it to something else.

It’s amazing that the 777 engine is as big and a 737 fuselage

Just you. The GE90s have the largest diameter of any engine. The fan diameter is 128 inches (-115B). The entire assembly when in the housing is 135in.
