I flew from São Paulo to Miami. I took off and everything was perfect, I had plenty off fuel so I left home because I had to go to soccer practice and when I got home to check on my flight it had crashed. So I looked up my replay and found out it was because off the autopilot couldn’t keep its selected altitude. It just flew up and down until it lost speed. It’s so irritating because I got three violations and now I can’t fly on expert server.
The most likely reason here is that you climbed too steep for your configuration. This is why it’s always recommended to keep an eye on your flight until it reaches cruise.
With this most likely not being an issue caused by the app, no violations will be removed.
You should start off at a low altitude, then once you get lighter, climb higher.
If it still happens, set your autopilot altitude higher than your actual altitude, and set your vs to 0 once you reach your cruising altitude. Do so gently.
As some have mentioned the aspect of step climbing and weight with the 777 if I see the airplane moving up and down when cruising
i will use the VS to control and set it on zero then click on the altitude and after a couple of hours later turn the altitude on.
