777-10?

Found this interesting

Boeing considering a stretched version of the 777X that would compete with the A380 on capacity.

It’s probably going to take the 747-8 length record.

The 777-9 already was going to do that.

I had a feeling Boeing might make another member of the tail-strike family.

longer a340 comfirmed?

Just because it’s longer, doesn’t mean it’ll be prone to tails trikes. Computers can now prevent tails trikes and the flight physics could be different

lovely, first the 787-10, then the a350-1000, and now this.

There are aircraft that require more finesse to stop the tail from striking. The 737-900 and 777-300ER has that issue where pilots need to be more careful than usual to stop the tail from contacting. You can’t rely entirely on computers sometimes.

I have never had a tail strike on the 77W, and that’s my go-to plane. People should just learn to fly properly and not increase to 15 degrees pitch up immediately

Exactly, the pilot is essential in preventing tailstrikes. The decreased rotation angle does decrease takeoff performance, that is something that needs too be addressed.

Umm I can’t imagine anything longer than the 777-9 😳😳😳
