For someone who has plane spotted at multiple busy airports like IAH, EWR, JFK, DFW and AUS and flew on 2 Spirit A321 CEOs with V2500s, 1 United A320 CEO with V2500s, 1 United 737-900 with CFM56s, 1 Spirit A320 NEO with PW1100Gs and 2 United 767-300ERs with PW4060s I can say that sound quality and looks are a major factor into what planes I like even as an 21 year old who has driven cross country by him self for almost 3 years now.

Just because an aircraft is second in a vote, does not mean that it is confirmed that the 767 will come afterwards. It is poor practice to assume that all A380 voters will have the 767 as a second choice. It wasnât really a promise to begin with.
Itâs a different aircraft, plus it was never promised to begin with.

TL:DR, the votes are there for market research. If you think that the results are final promises, then I do not know what to say, other than it was never promised to begin with.

Noice i lived outside of IAH since i was 5 up until i was 13 then lived out by Staten Island NY where the LGA arrivals would fly over head at like 6,000ft. Along with the distant sound of wake Turbulence from EWR departures then i moved back down texas where i would hear all the north departures when i was like 16 up until i was 20. I too have heard and seen them all even the KLM 747-400 with CF6s was by far for me the most memorable thing that has for ever started my aviation passion.

This thread hasnât really been overly constructive imho. No point in squabbling. While we understand that thereâs demand for the 767 to be reworked⌠itâs just not a part of our development plans as we speak. That said, I can assure you that we also want all of the features that are frequently requested. We all share the same passion! đ
