I’m flying from frankfurt to cape town in a 747-8i and haven’t retracted flaps past 10 deg. and the plane is saving a tremedous amount of fuel compared to me flying with out them, its a similar story for the 787, and I know with the 787 it has a setting to fly with flaps to save fuel but as far as my knowledge goes the 747-8i doesn’t feature that, but I think IF devs should somehow harness this affect and make it a normal thing or something
