I believe that’s already known and happens because the -8F is a poorly edited version of the -8i. You can even see the passenger windows if lighting is just right. Dual jetbridges also connect to nothing on the -8F for that reason.
I mean it is quite old so i really dont mind issues like this. But the weight ones and the fuel/ AOA issues are the ones i would atleast like a update on before the actual rework, just like the A330.
I think it’s highly unlikely it’ll be adressed before a rework, because we know a 747 rework is coming in the not-so-distant future, so it’s somewhat pointless to fix this issue only now.
Based of current demands i highly doubt itll come before the 767, so it could be in late 2025/early 2026, still i would really appreciate fixing this even though it would be temporary.
Fixing that would essentially require making the 747-8F its own aircraft, being completely separated from the 747-8 pax, as I’m pretty sure it’s impossible for them to change how an aircraft behaves based off livery alone (except for cockpit, which they’ve done on the XCub and C172). Basically the opposite of what they did with the 737-700 many years back (basically deleted the 737-700 and added all airline liveries to the 737-700BBJ, and renaming that as 737-700). Is it really worth it at this point in time? I don’t think so, but everyone has their opinions.
