Most boeing employees call it 800 and so do many aircraft enthusiasts
It is the biggest commercial plane boeing has ever built

If you wait a few more years boeing is going to build a aircraft that will phase out the b747-8 from production which is the b777x
Because they are the better sellers than the b747-8 boeing only has just under 50 orders for the 747-8 and thouands for the 777
Yes it did but apparently there is a plan for more more improved version of the 747 but no more news from boeing but many airlines have placed orders for 777x which makes boeing satisfied
