Was playing around in solo mode and decided to push my plane to its max speed.
Got it to M 1.33. Best I could do.
(And yes I know I’m not supposed to upload images with the HUD display but how else am I supposed to show my epic accomplishment?)

Got it by doing 100 knots winds for tail push up to 700 knots and then slammed it to headwind and got it to read 1.33

you should nose dive and see if you can get any better.

Tried it but each time I did I ended up in a death spiral. Can’t keep it straight down
simple. calibrate your device pointing up, and then just push it all the way down. and also make sure to turn, it gives you speed.

I did that. I know how to dive with those same instructions but for some reason I can’t do it in my 747. Maybe it’s too big . And I see the wind to 0 so it doesn’t push me.
But I ain’t really trying to break the sound barrier. I was simply playing around with the weather controls on IF.
Turn the wind 180° and tailwind → +100 GS

Imagine how awesome it’d be if IF actually had crash animations or even mid-air breakups of you went Mach one in a plane not designed for it.

No. I forgot I could do that.

That simulation resets is cause I was using the 5x speed button to get up to cruising altitude faster. Forgot to turn it off I guess.
