737M8 rotate instability

The 737-max physics need tweaking.

It is very difficult to control on takeoff with even a light crosswind. One side of the jet always lifts off before the other and causes it to veer off to the side. And yes I am trying to correct yaw with the rudder.

Also, the bank angle on autopilot is too low. It means making tight turns need be made manually, even at low speeds.

I think this has been reported.

As for the crosswinds, I’d assume you are also using the yoke while taking off? You could also rotate a bit late.

Totally agreed for the bank angle, we should have an option to switch between 10° 20° and 30° degree angle. For better control during takeoff try to move the stick forward when you set N1 to takeoff power, keep it like that and adjust with the rudder. At 80kt move the stick to neutral then wait for V1 and VR. This may help you stabilize your takeoff path.

What do you mean by using the yoke?

As in using it to counteract the tilt immediately after takeoff

I’ve tried that but it doesn’t seem to make any difference.

I don’t think aileron deflection has actually been modelled into the physics.

It’s harder with narrow bodies. With heavies the rudder is usually enough to counteract a crosswind.

As for the takeoff, all aircraft can be hard to keep centerline, no matter the crosswind. Make sure you apply forward pressure up to 80 kts to keep the nose gear down, and also make sure you point the ailerons in the direction of the crosswind.

That’s true. What conditions are you in? I will try to replicate.

That could help, but I don’t think that’s the issue. The issue seems to be happening on rotation

Also spoilers doesn’t work on the 38M

Honestly, this never happened to me, even with autopilot.
