Honestly I don’t now if this topic should be general, support or meta but nvm. When landing the 737 family, the plane drops 5kias/s after putting in idle in the flare, any idea of why this happens? (Not complaining as it’s one of my fav aircraft in the game, I was just curious)
Hey mate, the 737’s speed drop in the flare after going idle likely happens due to Boeing’s standard approach speed settings of Vref+5 knots. This extra speed is meant to be bled off naturally during the flare to ensure a smooth touchdown. In Infinite Flight, this effect might feel exaggerated, so adjusting the timing and smoothness of your flare can help manage the speed drop better.
Have a good day.

Perfect, thanks!
Also worth noting that in real life the idle thrust is around 30-40% when in the air compared to 20% on the ground. In IF it always goes down to 20%.
