Here are some Boeing 737 MAX test flights as well as first flights.

Me: Wonders why their flying knowing they’re grounded

Boeing has to test them to make sure they’re fixed. These are not owned by airlines, but by Boeing.

Maybe you are actually curious, maybe you are kidding. But these aircraft are test flights for the new software or to the test the aircraft. Also airlines can do "Ferry flights to transport aircraft from one place to the other, the planes just have to be empty.

Is it not grounded?

Its not in commercial use. Boeing can test, sell new aircraft’s…do whatever they want. Then comes aircraft’s certification to fly passengers. Just to put it simple. Same as car manufactures. The manufacture test in their own track or in public roads. Then the safety test authority gives them cerification to sell it to public.(in boeing case certification allowed to carry pax)

You’re right it does

I guess it means that Infinite Flight is so realistic, real-world photos sometimes look like photos taken in IF
