Okay, I haven’t been able to do an error check yet but it seems like maximum flight range will be about 14 hours flat, and maximum flight time with full passengers, no cargo, 5% contingency, and 1 hour diversion fuel is about 10 hours 30 minutes. I am estimating with 170 lb/pax and 189 max pax, but my rental expired so I don’t know the exact capacity (if you could tell me that would be cool). Basically, the update cut an hour off its range in all situations. Your Jeju to Auckland is probably doable if you dip into reserves (should be about 12 hours of possible in-air time) but maybe wait for a bit until I can confirm.
The MAX in Infinite Flight has a max passenger capacity of 200 to accommodate the MAX 8-200 operators.
Thanks Benny! Closer to 10 hours 25 minutes then.
Update basically made it an A321 XLR
I could but I don’t know the procedure for testing I could do so If you told me the altitudes and what path to fly on
Nah, I just meant the passenger capacity but Benny got me covered. I can account for most of the other stuff but I need to know the ZFW is all.
99,362lbs.
I really need to be more specific lol, ZFW with max passengers. But Benny already answered so no worries
Oh, I just woke up and misunderstood it as OEW.
ZFW with 200 pax and 0 bags is 133,313lbs, and 200 pax and max cargo is 151,850lbs.
Thats why i rather fly with airbus i have always not enough fuel.. i cant understand what i do wrong. I did a flight from ksea - eham i had the flight time coverd i took 30 mins exta + 5 hours reserve fuel for diversions holding trafic. The max uses less for my feeling.. maybe i need to still pack more gas after al.
If you packed 5 hours of reserves in a 737 MAX and you didn’t make SEA-AMS you must’ve been flying with the flight spoilers up or something of the sorts. For what it’s worth, the new Boeings all burn less than IRL counterparts compared to the new Airbuses.
Edit: the MAX’s fuel only displays up to like 10 hours, so it’s physically impossible to have 5.5 hours of reserves on top of that. Were you flying a 747 by chance? They tend to do that.
speaking of the 747, how much extra does it really give you using flaps 10?
Haven’t looked into it fully
can officialy confirm that ap+ makes fuel nonexistent. only used 30% of fuel on the 789 after flying 18.5h with pax.
i’m now confident i can beat that 158 record mr uwu
if the way my record gets beaten is because IF decided that AP+ should triple aircraft range I’m gonna be pretty annoyed lol
You’re not gonna like me after this week
I’m gonna have to start specifying non AP+ record
i say we have a few months window till this gets patched in 25.2 later this year to break the record
