Hey IFC! I often use a website where it show aircraft flap speeds but I notice something different for the 737 family. On the website I use, here are the flaps settings for 1-5:
1-230kts
2-230kts
5-225kts
On IF, and irl it says this:
1-250kts
2-250kts
5-250kts
Which one is correct? Everything else is the same for the website and the IF cockpit and irl.
I suppose the one that’s seen in the real world is that one that’s correct because it’s used in the real world.
In IF and IRL those are the speed limits for each of the flaps so you wouldn’t necessarily extend them at that speed
Here are the -800 real-world flap limit speeds :)
Flaps 1: 250 knots.
Flaps 2: 250 knots.
Flaps 5: 250 knots.
Flaps 10: 210 knots.
Flaps 15: 200 knots.
Flap 25: 190 knots.
Flaps 30: 175 knots.
Flaps 40: 162knots.
