I saw somewhere on the fourms that the default engine sounds used on most airceraft are 737 engine sounds which it does sound like it on the inside, but on the outside it sounds like a CF34, how come?

Hey and welcome to the community!
I’ll give a wild guess that these sounds have been around for ages now and the quality of the sound pack isn’t as good as for other aircraft (GE90 for example). This might be why you can hear significant differences between the IRL CFM and the engine sound we have in IF.
