737, 747 and 757 @LGB

Hello everyone. Today I had to drop off some relatives at Long Beach and I managed to get some time to go spotting at the airport. This morning was very busy for the airport with charter flights and more. Enjoy the photos!

Nice shots! I’ve never seen so much variety at LGB… I’ll be on this flight tomorrow:

I was just at LGB last night, Virgin Orbit had their 744 chilling on the ground, very surprised its flying again after being grounded for awhile.

It was grounded? No wonder I’ve never seen it flying before… My aunt lives by runway 30 so I would’ve seen it if it wasn’t grounded.

Virgin Orbit couldn’t afford to fly it so it stuck to LGB for a few months. I believe it’s headed over to Lake Charles as we speak for it’s new owner of Stratolaunch.

I’ve seen it do a lot of flights recently

I only saw one being yesterday for a test flight. None other than that as far as I know.

Interesting. I’ll have to save this one for future reference.

This might change a bit, as both the Minnesota Twins and Vikings have announced that they’ll be using Sun Country for charters.
