3D Airports

Now that there are more and more 3D airports, if you have a flight for example from Dubai to Perth, and you didn’t know Perth was 3D, once you’re at the gate/while you’re flying do you change your destination just bc the airport isn’t 3D after the realisation?

  • I often fly from/to 2D airports
  • I avoid 2D airports

I still fly to and from them frequently since quite a few Caribbean airports and even some in Latin America lack 3D buildings (Ex: Managua, San Pedro Sula, Liberia, Baranquilla, Quito, Guayaquil, St. Lucia, Grenada, Port of Spain, Guadeloupe etc…)

And no, I don’t change my destination after realizing it’s not 3D once I depart from that gate, I’m committed to that flight.

I fly into every Airport regardless of if it is 3D or not. Why would i avoid flying into an airport just because it isn’t 3D. Its such a shame that 2D airports are ignored in IF.

If fly into both 2D and 3D it makes no difference to myself I’m happy flying anywhere 😁

I fly to my home airport even though it’s not 3D lol

I mostly avoid 2D airports and often plan flights to 3D airports, however i never change plan in flight if i realise that airport isnt in 3D. But tbh the only time i fly to 2D airports is when flying to airports i like IRL, for exemple my home airport Djerba Zarzis

Mines Viracopos International close to São Paulo. It’s the main base for
my most flown airline Azul.

That sounds amazing mines Liverpool EGGP the main airlines from there are easyJet and Ryanair 🤣

Flying only to and from 3d airports narrows down your flight choices quite a bit. As long as the airport is edited and has parking spaces added, I’ll fly into/out of it.

Actually lack of liveries narrow down the choices for me. I fly all over the world and have flown solely to 3D airports.

Happens the contrary to me, if there’s no livery, I just whip out the generic one, such as my two PLUNA CRJ-900 flights.

Mine is Stansted (EGSS) and Liverpool is really nice. Ryanair galore here as it’s a base for Ryanair. Fun fact 70% of stansted flights are Ryanair
