This is going to be a continuation of the End of Day Shuttle Run series myself and @Fourthnebula919 were running. We decided that due to our schedules not exactly lining up like we first planned and @Fourthnebula919 being accepted into IFATC we would change the dynamic of the series. It will now be the same this as before where we post pictures and have polls deciding the next route. But instead of it being a regular route in the even, it will be a once a month fly-in/fly-out! There will still also be a featured route which will be a route flown by myself that will last no longer than 3 hours. This will be known at the featured route. The picture topics we used to make will also continue, they will just be slightly different, it will be comprised of 5 pictures from the ATC point of view and 5 pictures of the featured flight! So to start off with a bang, we will be beginning with @Fourthnebula919 choice for his first airport to ATC for an event, Belfast! So please, join us on the maiden event of this fantastic series!
Please spawn in to your gate with enough time to set up your flight plan so you can depart before the event is over (only for those who are flying-out).
Please calculate your flight time to Ensure you arrive at Belfast City Airport of choice within the timeslot ATC will be open (only for those who are flying-in).
Please reduce your taxi speed to avoid collisions.
Everyone must act professional at all times.
We take zero responsibility for any violations that may occur if you choose to not follow instructions.
Our featured route for this event will take us from the wonderfully large Amsterdam to the delightful, small Belfast. We will be flying it on the dash-8 Q400. more details will be shared on the day of the event.
You can find out more about Amsterdam here: Click Me!
If you are planning on performing a route you have found please double check it with Flightaware which can be found at the below link to ensure realism.
Please join us on the maiden event for this fantastic series!
For today’s suggested route, we have chosen Southampton! This wonderful port city has been the docking point for some of the largest cruise ships. The HMS Titanic which was interestingly built in Belfast also docked here.
This suggested route is to make up for the last few days, there is possibly going to be another one later today from @Fourthnebula919. This will be because it is the last day before the event so we want to suggest one final route each of flights we would love to see performed! And for my suggestion I have chosen a short hop across the Irish Sea to Glasgow! This beautiful city is filled with a rich history featuring multiple cathedrals, art galleries and museums. Then you can head down by the water and enjoy a nice and traditional fish and chips out of newspaper on the riverbank. I personally love Scotland and Glasgow is one of the many gateways from Belfast!
Our final featured route is Belfast to Inverness! Inverness is a wonderful city in the Scottish highlands with a population of 47,000 people. Inverness was found to be the happiest city in Scotland and the second happiest in the UK. Inverness is home to many castles and well as loch ness, which is just a 30-minute ride away. This route is flown on the loganair Erj 145 IRL but for the purposes of Infinite Flight, we will be subbing it with the Crj 200.
