Aloha Virtual Group invites the Infinite Flight community to Honolulu for our inaugural community fly-in!
Following our recent IFVARB certification, join us as pilots from across the community make their way to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (PHNL) from destinations around the world. Our featured route is KLAX → PHNL, but participants are welcome to choose their own realistic route into Honolulu. Whether you’re joining the main group flight or flying in independently, come celebrate the beginning of Aloha Virtual Group’s next chapter with us.

THE GATEWAY TO THE PACIFIC
Daniel K. Inouye International Airport

Located on the island of Oʻahu, Daniel K. Inouye International Airport is the largest airport in Hawaiʻi and serves as one of the state’s most important gateways. It connects Oʻahu with the neighboring islands while also providing domestic and international links across the Pacific and beyond.
PHNL is particularly suited to our inaugural event because of its combination of inter-island, mainland, international and cargo operations.
PHNL airport has four active runways, including the famous 12,000-foot Reef Runway, which was built offshore and became the world’s first major runway constructed entirely offshore.
The airport’s central Pacific location makes it a natural destination for pilots joining from across the Infinite Flight community.
KLAX → PHNL
The Aloha Gateway Featured Flight will depart from Los Angeles International Airport (KLAX) and cross the Pacific toward Honolulu.
This will serve as the main Aloha Virtual Group group flight, with staff and participating pilots encouraged to operate the route together.

For Aloha Gateway, there is no single required departure airport. Pilots are encouraged to choose a realistic route from their location and make their way to PHNL for the main event.

This event will take place on the Expert Server.
ATC coverage will be requested for the event where available if your a IFATC member and what to control the pacific skies PM us via IFC and we can plan from there.

Remain professional throughout the event.
Avoid unnecessary holding around PHNL.
Follow all Infinite Flight Expert Server rules.
Be considerate of other event participants.
EVENT OPERATIONS
PHNL can become extremely busy during large events.
Pilots should expect increased traffic during the arrival period and be prepared for sequencing, vectors, holding or delays when necessary.

To maintain high standards across our operations, all prospective pilots must meet the following entry requirements:
Age 13+ (Standard IFC requirement)
Active Infinite Flight Pro Subscription
Grade 3 or higher on Infinite Flight
Discord & IFC Accounts required for communication
Good understanding of English
1 PIREP per month minimum activity requirement
Clean IFVARB Record (Not on any Blacklist or Watchlist)
