Hello guys! Prepare to embark on an unforgettable journey as we announce this new thrilling event from Shenzhen to Shanghai Hongqiao on April 26th!
Join us to explore one of the busiest air-routes (CAN/SZX-SHA/PVG) in China! As you take off from Shenzhen, you’ll be treated to the vibrant cityscape gradually giving way to the vast expanse of the Pearl River Delta. You’ll fly over lush green mountains, their peaks often hidden in wisps of clouds, and meandering rivers that wind through fertile plains. The patchwork of farmlands, with their neatly arranged fields, adds a touch of rural charm to the view.
Approaching Shanghai Hongqiao, you’ll see the network of roads and bridges below which is a testament to this international city’s bustling activity.

About ZGSZ
Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport (IATA: SZX, ICAO: ZGSZ) — formerly Shenzhen Huangtian Airport — is an international airport serving the city of Shenzhen in South Central China’s Guangdong province. It is on the east bank of the Pearl River in Bao’an District, 32 km (20 mi) northwest of the city centre. It is a hub for Shenzhen Airlines and Donghai Airlines and for cargo airline SF Airlines, China Southern Airlines and Hainan Airlines. The airport also serves as an Asian-Pacific cargo hub for UPS Airlines. The airport underwent major expansions in the 2010s, with a second runway opening in 2011, and a new terminal in 2013.
It is one of the three largest airports serving the Pearl River Delta, alongside Hong Kong International Airport and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. The airport has direct ferry routes to Hong Kong International Airport, where passengers can transit without going through immigration and custom checks.

Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (IATA: SHA, ICAO: ZSSS) is one of two international airports serving Shanghai, China.
The airport is located near the town of Hongqiao in the outskirts of Changning and Minhang districts, 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) west of downtown, and is closer to the city center than Shanghai–Pudong.
Hongqiao Airport is the corporate headquarters and a major hub for China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, and Juneyao Air, as well as a major hub for Spring Airlines. In 2023, Hongqiao Airport handled 42,492,745 passengers, making it the 7th busiest airport in China and the 43rd busiest in the world. By the end of 2011, Hongqiao Airport hosted 22 airlines serving 82 scheduled passenger destinations. Shanghai Hongqiao Airport was also certified with the Skytrax 5-Star Airport Rating for facilities, terminal comfort and cleanliness, shopping, food & beverages, and staff service in 2019.
Hongqiao Airport served as Shanghai’s primary airport until the completion of Pudong International Airport on 1 October 1999, when most international flights were gradually moved to Pudong.

Bao’an Airport allocates takeoff runways based on flights’ departure directions irl. In this event, expect Runway 15/33 for departure.
*Terminal 3 & its Satellite are the only passenger terminals operating in ZGSZ. However, aprons east of Runway 15/33 are still using as passenger remotes for China Southern and Shenzhen Airlines.
