24 Hours Until My Recreational Pilot Licence
Today I went for my first official flying lesson and my second ever flight in a Cessna 150 with registration VH-RWO at Moorabbin Airport, here in Melbourne, Victoria. I previously had completed a trial induction flight with Tristar Aviation at Moorabbin Airport and today I completed my first official flying lesson on my way to my Recreational Pilot Licence, Private Pilot Licence and then last but not least, my Commercial Pilot Licence.
Here are some pictures from my adventures today…
First up, we’ve got this stunning picture out of the left window of the Cessna 150 as we departed out of Moorabbin Airport from runway 17R on an upwind departure to the Training Area which is situated just along the coast from Moorabbin.
Next up on the photography/flight session is a view out of the cockpit as we see the propeller spinning around and stopping us from hurtiling into the earth below. You can also see along the coast here, as we head towards the training area before making a right hand turn and coming back to Moorabbin to enter a right downwind for runway 17R, full stop.
Last but not least, a photo of my parents and I in front of the aircraft for today’s flying lessons, a Cessna 150 with the registration VH-RWO.
Also, be sure to check out my new profile picture as that is another photo taken from today’s flight.
Hope you enjoyed me sharing the experience with you all and I can’t wait to continue my path towards my goals of my Recreational Pilot Licence, Private Pilot Licence and Commercial Pilot Licence, as well as continue on the path to achieving my dream of becoming a pilot for Qantas.
I’ve already booked in my next flying lesson for a couple of weeks time, so I can’t wait to share that all with you as well!
