This is something that’s really annoying me as I’m trying to do my flight. When I landed in Muscat in my previous flight from Dubai, the tower and ground frequency mixed up and so the air traffic controller couldn’t see my request to taxi to parking message after I switched from tower to ground frequency, however I was able to see the messages from the other users using the tower frequency even though I was using the ground frequency. And now when I was doing my current flight from Muscat back to Dubai, i encountered the same issue but it was in reverse, instead after I switched from ground to tower frequency, the atc couldn’t see my request to takeoff message, and in the same frequency I was able to see messages from the other users who were requesting to taxi to the runway in the tower frequency! Please help as I don’t want to get a violation when I’m doing my flights.
You are probably not the only one affected by this. I also had the problem in EGLL, the tower sent me to line up and wait 09R!
After that all the pilots disappeared from my screen and there was no contact with the ground or the tower.
I didn’t know what to do, should I abort my takeoff or not?
After 5 seconds it worked again and I was able to take off anyway.
in my case I was not disconnected or anything like that however, the atc was telling me to switch to tower frequency and even then when I was in the tower frequency the atc repeated his message after I requested take-off in the tower frequency. I just aborted my flight because there was another plane waiting behind mine, I really hope this issue gets fixed soon
Ok, so I just updated the app and the issue seems to be gone thankfully, as after I redid the flight once the app updated the atc channels worked properly. if the issue persists ill make sure to notify it. Sorry for causing any concerns, good day!
I have updated the app to install the hotfix, however, I don’t hear the ATC voice I only see the messages. I heard it once during my first flight of the day to announce a taxi to the runway, during landing and in a subsequent flight I didn’t hear it until I ended the flight and restarted the app to take on another flight. Is there anyone else with this issue or just me?
