Example:

Strike of the Pilots union “Vereinigung Cockpit” (VC) for Lufthansa flights from Germany on all continental and intercontinental routes on 23. November 2016 from 00:01 - 23:29 German local time.

The pilots union Cockpit (VC) has called for a strike for Lufthansa flights from Germany on all continental and intercontinental routes on 23. November 2016 from 00:00 - 23:59 German local time.

The strike announcement concerns Lufthansa operated flights only. Flights operated by Germanwings, Eurowings, Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, SWISS and Brussels Airlines are not affected by the strike measures and will continue to operate normally.

Lufthansa regrets the inconvenience caused by the VC strike and will try to minimise the impact on its passengers.

Have you checked if intercontinental routes aren’t cancelled? Flights with CRJ’s or ERJ’s might be operated by Lufthansa CityLine, I’m not sure, but it it’s possible that the strike only affects LH itself.

Close to 900 flights were cancelled because of the strike.

Ouch ! That is really going to cut into profits !

It’s likely that they will continue the long haul flights to avoid more disruption and because their short haul aircraft are mostly made up of Airbus aircraft that’s is why so many flights with those aircraft are cancelled

If I’m not mistaken isn’t this the 5th Lufthansa strike this year?

LH was already at court to stop the strike but they didn’t got the approvement, so the pilots are allowed to continue their strike.
Bad for the passengers who normally trust to LH.

If it’s not airlines like Lufthansa and Air France having strikes then it’s the French ATC. Europeans eh…

@Chatta290
I only heard of spanish ATC who striked.
You have to think of the enormous loss money…
By the way: It would make more sense if someone would change the title, because not only A320 flights are affected.
