BabyBuses Across The Pond!
What Is The ‘BabyBus’?
The Airbus A318, or the ‘BabyBus’ is the smallest airliner in the Airbus A320 family. The A318 carries 107 to 132 passengers and has a maximum range of 5,700 km. Final assembly of the aircraft took place in Hamburg, Germany. It is intended primarily for short-range service. Wikipedia
About The Event
This event features what is probably the A318’s most known route, British Airways’ all-business service from London City (LCY/EGLC( to New York, John F Kennedy (JFK/KJFK), via Shannon, Ireland (SNN/EINN), which operated on an A318-100.
In July 2020, British Airways retired their entire A318 fleet, leading to the demise of this route. But, I thought it would be good to host an event featuring this aircraft and route.

The reason I have assigned everyone a callsign of BAW1_ is to ensure we don’t end up with a load of “Speedbird 1”s. It’s not a requirement to use it, but strongly recommended.
