22MAY20 / 0600Z - Friday Night Flight: From Spring to Autumn

-----

A rare yet always enjoyable FNF is one that focuses on general aviation aircraft. With the build-up to 20.1 growing, we are going to head to the skies in small little aircraft and explore two wonderful locations before the roaring monster of the B772 is released into the wild sometime in the future.

The first is the Scottish islands and the English channel islands. Both are hubs for GA traffic and serve as key links to the mainland for the islands. On top of that, the scenery of the islands is unique and beautiful. For those wanting something different, fly into Barra where you can land on a sandy beach! The second location is the eastern coast of Australia, infamous for the Great Barrier Reef. It goes without saying that this area is stunning in its own right!

Please be aware that it is general aviation aircraft only at these airports. This is shown in a TFR in the app, as a popup message when you load in at an airport with a TFR, and twice in this topic below.

As of 2017, how many C172s were sold in total?

  • 12,000
  • 192,000
  • 44,000
  • 31,000
  • 121,000

You Could’ve put Lydd in it whilst you were at it! 😜

This looks amazing, and I’ll be loving it in a TBM across the South Coast, and a Cessna just around the UK!
