21.4 eating my device battery

Ever since the update I am finding that 21.4 seems to be really eating into my iPad Pro 2020(running on the latest iOS) battery, more than usual, even on low power mode, my device is only just 1 year old so the battery is still relatively new, sometimes my battery percentage will remain the same even when it’s on charge, I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing a significant decrease in battery life after the 21.4 update ?

I have not had this experience on my 2017 IPad pro, i would sugest keeping the screen birghtness down and maybe on night mode. I always keep my ipad pluged in during flights and the batery just stays the same.

I have the same issue but worse.
Even though I’m cherging my phone it looses battery percentage.
So I use low in any setting during cruise and enable the lowpower mode in the settings of IF.
This helping me : )

It’s weird with mine, I usually keep my iPad brightness pretty low cuz my room is dark. So I’ve had no problems regarding battery til I turned up my brightness.

If you keep the brightness down, turn on low power mode and for longer flights, reduce the graphics, you should be grand.

Have you tried turning on Automatic Low power mode (Which can be found in settings) this will drop the fps and not eat up all your battery. Also try lowering your brightness and volume and you should see some changes which works for me.

That’s the exact same thing that’s happening to me

I’m starting to think that during this transition to Metal infinite flight is becoming too powerful for our devices to handle, you have to have the latest iPad in order for it to run without lag on higher settings, hopefully has project metal continues to take over the game will put less strain on our devices
