Hello!
We are Nico, Alberto and Lucas and we are Chilean IFATC members. On this opportunity, we are hosting an incredible event on the longest country in the World! With full ATC services in Arturo Merino Benitez Intl. Airport, we are expecting to create a constant and solid traffic between departures and arrivals onto this tricky airport surrounded by high altitude mountains. From our view, Chile is a very underrated country to fly in, but did you know that we have the arid desert on the north and Antartica and it’s challenging winds on the south? It’s amazing to fly here!
For the reasons listed above, we will have full ATC services from Santiago to our farthest northern and southern airports: Arica (SCAR) and Punta Arenas (SCCI), respectively.
Did you know? Chile is the longest country in the World with a length of 4.300 kilometers.

- ATC will be present, follow all ATC instructions.
- We highly recommend to join us on national flights rather than international. Both are welcome though.
- As you might know, SCAR and SCCI are regional airports and they have limited space for parking. We ask inbound pilots to please despawn on a prudent time to let arrivals have a gate too.
- Follow size restrictions listed on ATIS.
