As December is beginning to wrap up, I thought this might be a neat topic for the community. Where has everyone traveled to during 2018 and which was the most special and why?
Below, you’ll see the many places I got to go while being a pilot. This was my first full year as an airline pilot.
Thanks to my job perks, I can travel for free anywhere and I took 3 vacations this year! I traveled to Aruba, Bahamas and took my family to Las Vegas for a weekend at the casinos!
My favorite trip was the Las Vegas weekend (actually won some money!) I got to bring my family along for the first time on our non-revenue passes on the A321 from KCLT-KLAS
I have been to MSP about 4 times this summer and I absolutely loved it! My most memorable trip was to Boston, there is so much history there that it is simply mind blowing! Before the end of this year I’m planning to fly to DSM!
I’ve been to Washington DC, Managua in Nicaragua, Orlando Florida, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Cancun this year. Lots of traveling with the family in 2018.
I have been to 4 European countries…

Now, going back next year for FlightSim Expo 2019…😅
I have not flown anywhere this year. However i am flying many places next year!

Austria
France and Germany were probably highlights especially Munich and Paris.
I’m going to assume that you mean only air travel (if not, I’ll make a longer list).
Let’s see… My first flight of the year was in May. I went from KIAH-KDEN and spent vacation there.
Next I went to KIDA (with a short stop in KDEN) for a family reunion.
Interestingly, both flights from KDEN were dramatically delayed (feel free to ask if you want to hear the stories ;)
And that’s it 🤷🏼♂️
Wow, lots of traveling y’all! I personally don’t like to travel on my days off becuase I basically live in hotels with work so anytime I get an opportunity to sleep in my bed I’m hard pressed to give that up 🤣
I went to Seattle and Vancouver in the summer.
