2 Years Later

Hello IFC.
I am @Dimitrios_TA and today marks my 2 year anniversary on Infinite Flight.
It has really been a wonderful journey so far, met so many people, learnt countless new things that have made me into the professional simmer that I am today.
When I first joined the community, I was clueless as to how it worked amd where to post things of different topics. The first event I joined wasThr Amsterdam Fly-Out by @united403 and i flew from AMS to ORD in the KLM 78X. I practically begged my parents to buy it for me and after I got it I used to stay up until 7 or 8am flying nonstop trying not to get caught. Fun times.
Later on I created my first event Madrid to Athens group flight which was unsuccessful and unrealistic, but it was all in the learning process. That summer I ranked up to 1000+ hours of flying since my iPad was on 24/7 and got my fair taste of violations before I got the hang of things.
Now I am satisfied with my progress so far even though I took many months off IF due to personal reasons.

As I stated above, huge shoutout to @RickG for being the kindest and most helpful moderator back in April 2024 for clearing the violations I wrongfully got. I really appreciate you for your patience with my 14 year old self. Another huge shoutout to the entire IF team for keeping this expanding community civil and alive and a big thank you to @Laura for building this awesome simulator!

@Lufthansa1 I remember I sent you a message to fly together in May 2024 from JFK to MAD and we started talkimg and flying together.
@Anthony_Gulluscio @Waxyscorpion308 @Jger @arlin1 thank you for the time we spent chatting and flying together over the years.
Thank you @Butter575 for assisting me with gate assignments in 2024 and for being an overall great person.
@Quentin_PS my IRL friend who I begged to join IF, fly high mate!
Lastly, shoutout to @MAviationYT for being a great friend, flying together (once in forever) and discussing about various topics.

I am grateful for everyone I mentioned today who has helped me bevome realistic and taught me better flying techniques and I hope that my third hear here will be even better than the last ones!
