Hello there guys, I’m creating this ATC Tracking Thread because I’ve applied for IFATC and would like to practice before my practical test. Hope you guys find some time to help me, thank you and have fun!

Hello guys,
my official practical test is tonight 8:00 PM (UTC) (In 3 hours and 33 minutes).

I feel pretty confident but I would like to start a session here before I start the test. So I would be very happy if you guys came tonight and gave me an honest feedback. I would also like to ask for you guys to test me as much as you can.

Feedback (LN-WIN)

  • Overall good job from my end!
  • Only comments were:
    1. If I am already in pattern and have been given a pattern direction (e.g., make left traffic), you don’t need to give me a new one on each clearance. Not a big deal, but saves you an extra click.
    2. My rway exit was late, good catch on the g/an and I know you had other stuff going on, so again not a big deal, handling the g/a is more important.

FEEDBACK CS-JFA

1st Pattern:

  • just one thing, when clearing me for the option you don’t need to say make right traffic, because when you cleared me for departure you already said that…

2nd Pattern:

  • No issues!

Going around:

  • Very nice!

3rd Pattern:

  • Same at the first one… no needed to say “make left traffic”…

HZ-MO1

  • Cancel takeoff clearance was too late, i was already rotating, in that specific case you couldve given G-WILL “maintain slowest speed” if you see him too fast
  • traffic direction is not needed with each clearance for planes remaining in patters as you already informed them on takeoff clearance “make right traffic”
  • no other issues

5 people came. Thank you guys a lot for coming and for the honest feedback. On all feedbacks I got so far there was this traffic direction thing. I will remember this when taking the practical in 1 hour.

I failed the practical. I don’t feel too bad cuz trainer said it was a solid effort without training so I’m good. Gonna be taking a few training sessions and I’ll probably use this thread again twice. Somewhen, and somewhen again.
