As many of us rejoice at the end of our respective school semesters, United Virtual would like to launch a massive event to kick-off what’s sure to be an incredible summer. Consisting of a Q&A session with United Virtual’s Staff, Giveaways held in a Discord made specfically for this event, our first open-application session for prospective pilots, and an announcement of our future plans. We invite everyone, ranging from those who may be merely looking for a good time or those of you who may be interested in becoming a UVAL Crew Member, to join us. We look forward to seeing you there!
SFO is the largest airport in the San Francisco Bay Area and the second busiest in California, after Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). In 2017 it was the seventh-busiest airport in the United States and the 24th-busiest in the world by passenger count. It is the fifth-largest hub for United Airlines, which operates out of Terminal 3 and the International Terminal. SFO functions as United’s primary Trans-Pacific gateway. It is a major maintenance hub for United Airlines and houses the SFO Museum that was created in 1980 and was the first museum in an international airport.

Due to the large nature of our event, we will no longer be enforcing Gate/Airport Assignments. However, we do invite you to essentially state the gates and times you’ll be departing so we can have an idea as to the number of attendees we should be preparing for.
