1986 G7 Summit Aircraft at Haneda

The 12th G7 Summit was held in Tokyo in 1986. In this photograph, taken at Haneda Airport (RJTT), aircraft from different nations can be seen. These include a VC10 from the UK, two Concordes from France, an L-1011 from Canada, and two 747s, one each from Italy and the United States. Two 707s from Germany can be seen facing the others. The G7 Summit is an annual economic meeting of world leaders from seven nations. This amazing lineup of aircraft is an event in itself, and needed to be shared.
