AIRFRANCE-KLM Virtual Group invites all members of the IFC to join us for Destination Saturdays, Vol. 42: Rio De Janeiro. For the next leg of our around-the-world journey, we will return to South America’s Buenos Aires, Argentina and head northeast on a short-haul flight to the famed home of Bossanova music, the Girl from Ipanema, and Copa Cabana beach. It’s one of the bigger airports in Brazil based in the region Rio de Janeiro. Passengers can fly to and from the airport with a scheduled service. It also shares operations with the local Air Force base
Notice To Airmen:
[ 1 ] This event is open to all IFC members, including non-AIRFRANCE-KLM VA pilots.
[ 2 ] Attendees are asked to spawn in 10minutes before their scheduled departure time.
[ 3 ] Pilots are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all times.
[ 4 ] All guests are asked to use the flight plans provided in the Crew Resources section of this thread in order to ensure proper spacing and maximize realism.
[ 5 ] Prior to spawning in, please be sure to double-check your assigned gate and push back order in the event of a last-minute change.
[ 6 ] Wait until the aircraft ahead of you ahead has reached 2000ft AGL before entering the runway and beginning your take-off roll.
[ 7 ] Maximum taxi speed on the ground is 20kts on straightaways, 12kts on turns.
[ 8 ] Contact AFKLM Event Manager @Benrdutch if you have any issues or doubts.
[ 9 ] Please take up the Gates 26-28 and stands 29-32 if your gate is already occupied!
