The US East IFATC Team would like to welcome another of our 5th weekly US East Takeovers! We decided to stick with Thursday at 1800Z until around 2000Z for the foreseeable future, but it is still likely to change. Just a quick update, now off to the to land of US Airways (oh wait)… American Airlines where we host this weeks event.
This week we kick off a three part series, featuring the main three when it comes to US Mainland airlines. As always, our goal is to feature underserved airports and new airports never featured in events. So, without further ado, we welcome to you Charlotte, North Carolina. While this airport has been busy when it comes to traffic due to 21.3, we thought this airport would be a great choice as our AA Hub!
KCLT (Charlotte, NC)
Once home to US Airways, Charlotte (now in 3D) is now a busy hub for American Airlines. With 3 parallel runways, our controllers will be able to get you in and out in a quick manner while you enjoy the new views!

This event is run by IFATC, specifically the controllers within the US East Region. Please tag @AviationReports in the US East channel if you would like to join. As for pilots, turn out was amazing last time, cannot wait to see it again, this time in American Airlines/US Airways Aircraft! Logo in the banner is approved by Tyler
