Also, you can join our group-flight from ZSHC (Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport) to ZGSZ (Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport).
About The Spring Festival:
The time of the Spring Festival (also called Chinese New Year),has its roots in ancient agrarian societies in the Yellow River Basin (the cradle of Chinese civilization). Its origins can be traced back over 3,000 years to the Shang Dynasty (c. 1600–1046 BCE), when people held rituals to honor gods and ancestors at the end of the winter and the beginning of spring.
The Spring Festival is the first day of the lunar new year every year. Imagine the world’s largest annual human migration, as millions journey home for a family feast. This is the Spring Festival! For over two weeks, China erupts in a celebration of red and gold, with lively dragon dances, the crackle of fireworks, and the exchange of lucky “red envelopes” (hongbao). It’s more than a holiday—it’s a captivating cultural experience filled with delicious food, ancient traditions, and boundless hope for the new year.
Regarding the date of the event:
The Spring Festival is on February 17th, so why did we choose February 15th for the event?
The Spring Festival is a time for the whole family to reunite, and everyone should spend time with their families during the festival, so we moved the event two days earlier and chose Sunday, February 15th.
Not only that, but this day is also the first anniversary of the establishment of Xiamen Air Virtual! We are looking forward to your arrival.
