That’s an extremely high bar lol I don’t think this is quite there yet. I’d compare it more to the 777s. A bit too much power. A bit too much range. Otherwise normal flight characteristics. Not the Mach 3.3 dragster the Raptor is.
Ive noticed the max floats ALOT, like under 110kts it floats alot
This might be the case, although I haven’t actually done a legit flight on a server with it yet so I’m not sure.
I’m surprised it can even come in that slow, 737s are supposed to be fairly fast on landing. Is it Flaps 40?

This was pointed out to me by @KPIT who discovered not long after that most planes in IF can do this (some easier than others) but the MAX certain feels the most stable while doing it. Pretty much just have to treat it like scandi flicking a car.
I remember a couple years ago doing this with the A380 while inverted. I’m sure it hit 10+ Gs a couple times during that shenanigans

Hit 19Gs in a CRJ last night after I realized that basically everything in infinite flies like a fighter (and then some) if you try. For all the things infinite flight does do well, the upper bounds of their performance envelopes isn’t really one such thing.

Outside the reasonable envelope bounds though, of course would be pushing diminishing marginal utility. Not denying novelty value though.
When you weigh the various factors of the task, how the pieces work out kind of makes sense.
Yes Flaps 40, I saw someone talk about so i tested it myself

757s are cool to look at, decent to spot (although I would prefer they didn’t all depart in 4 feet) but flying on them is horrible. Not really quieter than an NG, just as narrow as an NG, a lot of them are fairly old as well (at least in the US)

I would speculate though that all recreational flight sims have issues with that steep part of the rpm-thrust curve. Due to the steepness of the curve, without proper training, and without proper fidelity of control input UI, you can get into overthrust situations very easily, leading to misunderstandings about the nature of what the meaning of overpowered actual means. So, the context of implementation, is likely not trivial.

Yup I agree with you , the MAX has very good interior mood lighting and feels a bit roomy tbh (varies airline to airline)
