Yes, it’s back!
Due to the unfortunate cancellation of FlightSim Expo 2020, we decided to hold a bonus summit this year to bring the Infinite Flight Community together virtually in Houston, Texas!
We are so excited to announce that the IFVARB’s (somewhat) regular VA bash is back and bigger than ever! With double the number of airports, triple the stands, and more events to show off what our VA/VO community has to offer! Given that the transient slots were a success last time, we will be bringing them back for this summit!

Feeder Airports
The following airports will be staffed by IFATC on the day of the event in addition to KIAH and KHOU.
- KDFW
- KMDW
- KATL
- KEWR
We do not assign stands at these airports, so they will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Larger VAs may benefit from independently departing a different airport to better control arrival times. SID/STARs at these airports will be at ATC discretion. We expect all pilots to follow ATC instructions and demonstrate competent airmanship.
Slot/Stand Assignments

- Please ensure that you are parking on the correct lines
There are different tabs on the bottom for various departures. All of the departures/arrivals are also consolidated into one sheet.
Please note that the stand code refers to the ICAO Aerodrome Reference Code of your stand. Please ensure that you select an aircraft that will fit.
Please time your arrivals/departures accordingly. We are averaging 120 movements per hour, so late arrivals may cause undue delays.
Ground/In-Air Procedures
Reference Documents: Integrated Plan Alpha | Integrated Plan Bravo | KIAH Ground Charts | KHOU Ground Charts
In-Air and ATC coordination portions of the integrated plans courtesy of @JoshFly8.
We have two published plans and will announce which plan is in use on the day of the event. We are currently favouring plan Alpha and will not deviate unless the prevailing conditions make that impossible.
We expect pilots to follow all SIDs and STARs to maintain separation. We recommend programming in an approach but ask that pilots be prepared for vectors in the approach phase.
The ground procedures attached are complex and intended to maintain efficient traffic flow. Please have the ground charts either memorized or handy to prevent gross navigational errors on the ground.
If you spot an error with any of the documentation, please DM @Danman for review.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Spectators
Spectators are invited to spectate from the various maintenance and FBO aprons dotted throughout the airport. Please note that the United Maintenance Area is reserved for IFVARB Members.
If you have any questions or concerns about the procedures, please reach out to @IFVARB and @JoshFly8.
@Danman (myself) will be available through the IFC and the IFVARB Slack on the day of the event from 1500z onwards for any urgent inquiries.
See you there!
