Hello everyone, and welcome to Air Europa Virtual 1st Anniversary Event! Air Europa Virtual was founded in February 2021 by @MrJackT14 and it has been a very successful VA. This event will be on the 12th June 2022 and we are doing this event to celebrate.
The event will be at Air Europa’s main HUB which is Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport in Spain. There will be a Fly-In and Fly-Out at Madrid and we are so excited.

Madrid Barajas International Airport is the largest and busiest airport in Spain. It is located in the North-East of Madrid, Barajas district, only 12 kilometers from Madrid city centre. The Airport opened in 1928 and since then has become one of the most important aviation centers of Europe. Madrid airport is also a Cargo HUB which deals with a variety of different cargo. On average, over 45 million passengers fly to and from Madrid airport each year. Madrid airport is also in the top 10 busiest airports within Europe.
It is the foremost European airport for flights to Central and South America as well as a major hub for worldwide connections.
Please Note: The Fly-In part of the event is fully flexible to pilots however, we have recommended some featured routes which are located at the “Featured Routes” section of this thread. The Fly-Out part of the event can be any destination from Madrid, and it is recommend that it is a real route that actually departs from Madrid.
The Fly-In and the Fly-Out will happen at the same time.

Please Note: Pilots can of course do as many routes as they like throughout the day. However between 6pm-7pm that is when the busiest time should be with the Fly-In and Fly-Out.

- Any pilot participating in the Fly-Out and Fly-In can of course occupy any free gate. No reservation is needed.
- The destination and aircraft is at the pilots discretion.
- It is recommended that real world routes that arrive and depart Madrid are used as well as the aircraft that is used for that specific route.
- We have recommended some routes below for pilots to choose!

Please Note: It is at the pilots discretion to depart one of the featured routes on time to arrive into Madrid for 17:00Z which is when the flyout will be happening.

Air Europa Virtual was founded in February 2021. Air Europa is the third largest airline in Spain and they fly to over 44 destinations around Spain, Europe, South America, North America, The Caribbean, Morocco and Tunisia. Air Europa currently use the B738-800, B787-8, B787-9 and the E195 in there fleet.
