12JUN21 / 1800Z to 1845Z - The Queen City of the Ozarks Flyout @ KSGF

Welcome to my…third flyout in the state of Missouri! This time, we are located at a small regional airport in southwest Missouri. Only 4 airlines operate here working with 10 gates. I wonder how this event will go.

Welcome to Springfield-Branson National Airport (ICAO: KSGF, IATA: SGF), formerly known as Springfield–Greene County Airport, Springfield Municipal Airport, and Springfield–Branson Regional Airport.

SGF is a small regional airport located in Southwest Missouri, serving nonstop to only 13 destinations, and 4 airlines. Those airlines being American Eagle, Delta Connection, United Express, and Allegiant. Those airlines have flown a total of 1.18M passengers in 2019. The busiest destinations being DFW, ATL and ORD.

SGF also serves 3 cargo airlines. That being UPS, FedEx, and DHL serving to 7 destinations. The airport only has 2 cargo gates to serve those carriers.

SGF has been seeing an annual passenger growth since 2012 up to 2019 growing up by at least 10,000 passengers to 150,000.

If IFATC is present, you will be required to listen and to follow every instruction that they give you. I will not be responsible for violations or reports you may receive.
If IFATC is not present, please be aware of your surroundings when on the ground or in the air. Use unicom to announce what you will be doing.
Use Simbrief, FPLtoIF or other flight plan generators to generate your flight plan. SIDs and STARs must be used to have a smooth way in and out of airports.
Maintain a 1000ft and 5nm separation from the plane behind you or ahead of you.
Most importantly, be sure to have fun!

Let me know if I made any mistakes in the event. Have fun!

(it’s wave 1)
I’ll take this one, but do you mind changing the airframe to the CRJ2? Closest thing to the E140 lol

Oh, and also, if anyone takes those cargo gates, please please please exercise caution regarding weight/TO thrust as SGF’s runways are short compared to what the 77F is used to, and I wouldn’t want to see any tailstrikes or overruns.

Haha, yeah I already put a notice. I think it will be fine especially since a 747-400 landed at Springfield a few times.

Good to be safe though!

I’ll get everyone signed up within the next 2 hours since I am out of the house

Yeah, but like you said better to be safe, especially given the fact the 77F is fairly weak at heavier weights.

I’m very experienced with the 777 Family. No need to worry about me 😁
