this is a real world route, i have flow it before, the largest runway at EIDW is around 8500 feet long, so we will probable have to go FULL power on takeoff to be safe, because short runway, heavy plane, hope to see you there!

Nope - to takeoff an 787 at DUB with that load around 90% N1 is perfect.
Beleive me, I fly in/out of DUB at least 3 times a week and @twig does like every day.

I’ll admit it early - I am not very good at ATC. I’ll take Dallas Ground just to be cautious. If no one else shows up for any other ATC duties, I can do tower. I’m assuming the flight takes ~7 hours. Can you confirm?

No worries, Ground is a good place to practice ATC until you’re comfortable with handling more traffic. I’ll probably only use 1 runway anyway
