104h19min Nonstop Meridian Flight – Could This Be IF’s Longest Ever?

Hey everyone!

Over the past few days, I took on a personal challenge that really pushed both myself and AP+ to the limit — flying along Earth’s meridian direction, completing roughly 2.22 full loops around the globe , with a total flight time of 104 hours and 19 minutes .

Route:

EGLL (London Heathrow) ➝ multiple segments ➝ FAOR (Johannesburg OR Tambo)

Total time: 104h19min

Automation: AP+ used during cruise

This was hands down one of the most intense and patience-testing flights I’ve done in IF.

Challenge:

Challenge: Fuel management was tricky — after 47 hours, my aircraft might show 218% fuel remaining. This can cause severe overweight and even lead to stall if not handled carefully.

Now I’m wondering:

Could this be the longest single-session flight in Infinite Flight history?

Has anyone done something crazier?

Would love to hear if anyone else has attempted something similar or knows of legendary records out there. Let’s see if this sets a new bar!

I flew for 158 hours on a single tank of fuel - another Infinite Flight Record

Hello Community! Yes, you read that right. 158 hours, on a single tank of fuel. Three and a half years ago, I set off to break to Infinite Flight nonstop flight record (one tank, no refueling). At the time, the record stood at 62 hours in an A350. Two weeks later, I hit 73 hours in a DC-10 on a flight which was unfortunately cut short by a crash due to high winds.
