Tuesday the 9th of June Australia has been selected. There are no selected airports, everything is down to ATC choice, however there are many airports in Australia so to schedule flights here are some airports that are likely to open! Some aussie controllers may control their home airport

  • Qantas
    Qantas “spirit of Australia” operates these aircraft: 717, 737-800, A330 (no IF livery), 787-9, 747-400 and A380. Q-link Operates: A320, Bombadier Dash 8 Q-400
  • Virgin Australia
    Virgin Australia operates these aircraft: 737-800, A330 (no IF livery) and 777-300ER
  • Jetstar
    Jetstar is a budget airline partnered with Qantas. They operate: A320 and the 787-8s
  • TigerAir
    Tiger is also a budget airline partnered with Virgin Australia. They Operate: A320 and 737-800(No IF livery)
Capital / major airports
  • Sydney Kingsford Smith International (YSSY)
    Located in New South Wales (NSW), sydney is the biggest airport in Australia.
  • Melbroune Tullamarine Airport (YMEL)
    Located in Victoria (VIC), Melbroune Tullamarine is a spectacular airport to fly into. However “Melbroune weather” may give you a nice and windy approach :)
  • Brisbane International (YBBN)
    Brisbane Airport is in Queensland (QLD) Reccently building a new runway, brisbane is exanding rapidly in the aviation sector.
  • Adelaide Airport
    Adelaide airport (YPAD), is one of the smaller captial state airports. However has a good steady tourism industry due to the Borossa Valley
  • Perth Airport (YPPH)
    Perth Airport is located in Western Australia (WA), far away from all the state capital airports, if you’re looking for a 4-6 hour domestic flight, YPPH is the airport to fly to!

  • Gold Coast International (YBCG)
    Gold Coast International Airport, located south of brisbane (QLD) is a smaller airport that depends heavily on the tourism industry. However the approach into the airport from the north is spectacular!
  • Canberra international Airport (YSCB)
    Canberra is the capital of Straya and is located in the Austrlian Capital Territory (ACT), however the volume of aircraft are much smaller.
    Canberra is a good city to visit if you’re into history!
  • Moorabbin Airport (YMMB)
    Is a general aviation airport for light aircraft located in between the southern Melbourne suburbs of Heatherton.
  • Camden Airport (YSCN)
    Camden Airport is an aerodrome located on the outskirts of Sydney 1 nautical mile northwest of Camden, New South Wales, Australia
Military Airports / bases
  • RAAF Base Amberley (YAMB)
    RAAF Base Amberley is a Royal Australian Air Force military airbase located 8 km (5.0 mi) southwest of Ipswich, Queensland in Australia and 50 km (31 mi) southwest of Brisbane. It is currently home to No. 1 Squadron and No. 6 Squadron (operating the F/A-18F Super Hornet), No. 33 Squadron (taking delivery of the Airbus KC-30A) and No. 36 Squadron (operating the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III jet transport)

  • RAAF Base WilliamTown (YWLM)
    RAAF Base Williamtown is a Royal Australian Air Force military air base located 8 nautical miles (15 km; 9.2 mi) north of the coastal city of Newcastle (27 km (17 mi) by road) in the local government area of Port Stephens, in New South Wales, Australia.   • RAAF Base East Sale (YMES)
    RAAF Base East Sale is a Royal Australian Air Force military air base and training school, located in Sale, Victoria, Australia. The base is one of the main training establishments of the RAAF, including where Australian Air Force Cadets from 4 Wing (Victoria) have their biannual General Service Training as well as being home to No. 409 Squadron Australian Air Force Cadets. It is home to The Roulettes aerobatic team.
