Hello - Merhaba, and welcome to my flyout from the Turkish Capital
Some information about Ankara:
Ankara, also known historically as Ancyra and Angora, is the capital of Turkey. Located in the centre of Turkey. The city itself is one of the most developed in Turkey, with modern architecture and multiple famous markets spanning across the city. The city is enriched in culture and history, and whilst not the the most popular for tourists, it is popular amongst those who like exploring other cultures.
Some info about Esenboğa International:
The Airport - Ankara Esenboğa - provides many domestic routes spanning across Turkey, into Western Europe and even the Middle East. It is a hub for Pegasus Airlines and AnadoluJet (who operate for Turkish Airlines). In 2017, the airport served more than 15 million passengers in total, 13 million of which were domestic passengers and was the 4th busiest airport in Turkey.

haha I’m glad you’re pleased. I think Turkey is generally quite untouched in IF (except from Istanbul and some touristy airports like Dalaman, Antalya etc) so it didn’t take much for me to choose where to do a flyout from! You’re gate to the beautiful airport of Van is down, see you there
The route to Baku in Azerbaijan provides some stunning scenery across Eastern Turkey and into the Caucus region. With a flight time of just over 2 hours it is ideal for anyone wanting to try a scenic route departing the mountainous region around Ankara and arriving in the coastal city of Baku. As one of my personal favourite destinations on this list, I would definitely recommend this!
Try the 2hr hop up to Kyiv! From The Capital of Turkey to The Capital of Ukraine, this short route in the UIA 737-900 provides some beautiful views as you head north over The Black Sea before seeing the stunning scenery over southern Ukraine and towards Kyiv. This is a great route to anyone unfamiliar with this region, too.
