Hi all!
Have you ever heard of Cat Cay Airport? It’s situated about a 100 miles offshore from Miami Florida. This airport is home to one of the worlds shortest runways. The runway stretches just 1349 feet long. That’s just 30 feet longer than Saba. The approach is difficult so I recommend you practice, have fun, and good luck!

Rules:
- Must use assigned aircraft, gate, and callsign.

- Must obey any instructions given by our the judges on the event PM
- Must be respectful to all contestants (i.e. running into them)
- If any of these rules are disrespected, the pilot will be disqualified.
Procedures

Takeoff: Spawn into your assigned gate 10 minutes before the event and do not push back until 1400Z. Runway in use will be decided by a judge right before the event. Taxi to it and take off, keeping at least 3nm between each departure

Approach: We will most likely be using runway 13, but if runway 31 is better suited for landing, we will be using that one. Enter Left/right base (Depending on runway) and make your turn to line up on final. Please use Unicom! This runway is short.
*Unfortunately there isn’t much information on this airport, I couldn’t found charts.
Judges:

Takeoffs Will be evaluated by @Sashaz55, I will be able to give up to 5 points to each contestant based on preformance in different aspects of the takeoff such as: takeoff configuration, centerline, control, and rotation.

Landings will be evaluated by @PlaneCrazy, and will be worth up to 5 points depending on how smooth the landing is, where the touchdown point is, how lined up the aircraft is with the centerline, and other aspects.
Prize:
The contestant who gets the highest combined total will win the event and be featured on our Instagram and Slack.
