Fedex VG has grown exponentially since our reinstatement after a brief hiatus during a change of ownership. Since then we’ve had several events, and gained many members, launching us to the top of the Cargo Community, and VA Community as a whole. Calgary International Airport branded as YYC Calgary International Airport, is an international airport that serves the city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is located approximately 17 kilometres (11 mi) northeast of downtown and covers an area of 20.82 square kilometres (8.04 sq mi). With 6.3 million passengers and 124,108 aircraft movements in 2021, Calgary International is the busiest airport in Alberta and the third-busiest in Canada by passenger traffic. This airport is served by the Calgary International Airport Emergency Response Service for aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) protection. The region’s petroleum and tourism industries and its proximity to Banff National Park have helped foster growth at the airport, which has nonstop flights to an array of destinations in North and Central America, Europe, and Asia. Calgary serves as the headquarters for WestJet and is a hub for Air Canada
Built in the late 1930s, the site has since grown to house four runways, two terminal buildings with five concourses for passengers, warehouses for cargo handling, and other infrastructure.

This Event will not have gate assignments. it’s a spawn in and fly kind of event. so lets have a great Flyout and enjoy the flight All I ask is that Cargo Stands are left for Cargo Aircraft as this is Primarily a Cargo Focused Event. All Pilots are still welcome to join in the fun and fly your favourite aircraft be it Cargo or PAX.
Event Procedure's
Ground Procedures
- Have FPL ready before Requesting Pushback.
- Follow all Pushback and Taxi Instructions.
- Avoid blocking Taxiways, De Ice Aprons are available for aircraft to Sort out issues.
Departure and Airspace Procedures
- Request Takeoff when 1st in line at Hold Line.
- Follow all Hold, Lineup, and Takeoff commands.
- Be vigilant for Parallel Departures, Avoid crossing parallel departure Path
