Welcome to Phoenix, Arizona, a gem of the Southwest U.S! There’s something timeless about this city, especially when you step back to the 1990s. Which is the theme for this event! From the stunning desert vistas to the towering peaks of Camelback Mountain , the Desert Botanical Garden and grand Heard Museum Phoenix is a city full of history, character, and adventure.

From its founding in 1981 until merging with U.S Airways in 2007, America West was Phoenix’s hometown airline that put the city on the map for aviation! By the 1990s, AWE dominated the market here, having nearly 50% of the flights! With its signature purple and orange livery, America West was a key player in connecting the city to destinations across the U.S. and beyond. America West’s legacy lives on in many ways, including having their 757 livery in IF and American Airlines having a heritage livery on N580UW!
