Introducing the event
Frankfurt International Airport is a huge international airport in Frankfurt, the biggest city in Western Germany. Frankfurt’s airport serves as a hub for the whole of Germany, with many, many destinations all around the world, and as the 4th busiest airport in Europe, traffic will be quite heavy here.
Also, Frankfurt Airport is a hub for Lufthansa, the national carrier of Germany. That means many destinations and a wide variety of aircraft, knowing Lufthansa’s fleet.
Well, I think it’s a great place for an event, and seeing as the community voted for Frankfurt out of 4 different international airports, lets have an event, at Frankfurt, on #expert server

- Several flights will be taking place, to all around the world (There aren’t many domestic flights). If you want to fly one of them, please comment down below in the following format:

Or just quote the flight in your reply so it’s easier for me to organise who is doing which flight. - Choose a flight going to or via a place you want to explore! Lets see if we can fill up every gate. (I know I’m asking for too much)
- Try and pick your callsign based on your flight number. If I haven’t put the flight number, you can put your own. Just request your flight number or try and find the real life one (I couldn’t find it if I left it blank). I have put the first 2 digits for you.
If you are part of a VA, and you wish to fly as part of it, you are more than welcome to use that callsign. Just let me know when you are requesting your flight and I will change that for you - I hope IFATC will provide ATC there as part of the weekly schedule :)
If there is, please listen and adhere to all their instructions
If using UNICOM, please respect all other pilots, and don’t troll - No pattern work allowed
- No intersection departures
- Hopefully the 25s will be in use, and both runways will be used for departures (This will be assigned by the ground controller if there will be one depending on where you are around the airport)
- Expect airport to be busy during this time if you are at Frankfurt and not part of the event. Be patient please
