Airbus Virtual presents: The Airbus Flyout!

Welcome to Airbus Virtual’s first summer event of the year! The event aims to connect with fellow pilots and partners having ties with Airbus, as well a (late) celebration of the new 3D facilities in our home base, Toulouse!

All pilots are encouraged to fly between Toulouse Blagnac and our German base, Hamburg Finkenwerder, though you may still select your own route using any Airbus aircraft! More details below:

Hello, I don’t know if this is off topic or not.
but during this event I advise you to take off from LFBO and go to the airbus test airport
which is LFBT Tarbes Lourdes Pyrenees and my local airport. airbus and the army come all the time to do their tests I saw the a330neo, the a350, a320neo, a321neo and a319neo, beluga st and xl, a330mrtt of the French army… anyway I saw full of airbus test plane like air force planes.

ps: they do laps and land on runway 20

Hey there, we are aware of Airbus’s operation there, though it may be problematic to have all pilots to fit into the aerodrome. Nevertheless, you may still fly there from this event if you wish!

This is in consideration of flight time and range for everyone, hence our decision to prioritise Hamburg. You could still fly to other bases like Montreal and Tianjin if it works out for you!

Sure thing! I have assigned you to one of the Quercy Stand gates. Though ATC might not permit pattern work during peak times so you may operate your test flight at high altitudes or head to LFBT (20 mins away) for patterns before returning.

I have reserved the gate for you! In terms of arrival gates, there are no designated ones but any of those along Runway 06/24 should work fine.

I will try not to land during peak times. Besides, pattern work will not be required and I would only need one landing.

This is what I will do. I do not have an exact flight plan yet but I will try to somewhat replicate one of these real test flights

The first one is an A350 but oh well, could be done with a 320

Ultimately, I will make my one route but something along these lines
